These Were the 10 Worst Movies of the 2010s

From bad acting to bad plots, there have been some monumental film failures this decade. Check out some of the ones with the lowest ratings.

Valentine’s Day | 2010

Although it had a star-studded cast with icons like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Bradley Cooper, Kathy Bates, Queen Latifah and many more, this movie was a big epic fail. Following the intertwined lives of couples and singles on Valentine’s Day, it received a not-so-surprising 18% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star | 2011

Where to even begin with this movie starring Nick Swardson and Christina Ricci. Not only does it have a 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but critics also considered it one of the worst movies of all time.

Cowboys and Aliens | 2011

We don’t know what Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig were thinking when they agreed to make this movie. It was a huge box office flop and multiple critics called it “mind-numbingly dull.” It received a modest 45% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Spy Kids 4-D: All the Time in the World | 2011

An unfortunate part of current society is film companies’ inability to know when to stop. While the original “Spy Kids” was funny and original, this fourth installment flopped, receiving 22% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Movie 43 | 2013

It’s like no one learned from “Valentine’s Day” and thus, “Movie 43” was made. Another star-studded cast featuring Dennis Quaid, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet and more, it came away with a shocking 5% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Ridiculous 6 | 2015

One of the few movies to receive a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this ill-advised film released by Netflix caused a dozen Native American actors and actresses to walk out due to its portrayal of Apache culture. This Adam Sandler movie was certainly a huge fail.

Fifty Shades of Grey | 2015

This whole trilogy shouldn’t have been made, but the one that started it all was bad on so many fronts. Not only was it actually supremely boring, but the actors had no chemistry and the screenplay was as bad as the book. A rating of 25% on Rotten Tomatoes almost seems too generous.

The Emoji Movie | 2017

What happens when you combine blatant product placement and poor storylines? You get this blasphemous wreck. The first animated film to receive any Razzie Awards, this one received four and a 7% Rotten Tomatoes rating to boot.

Gotti | 2018

We’d say John Travolta should have known better, but given his track record, it’s no surprise he chose to go all-in in this dreadful biographical crime movie. Although it was nominated for six Razzie Awards, it didn’t win in any category, but it did receive a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was panned by critics as one of the worst movies ever made.

London Fields | 2018

Starring Billy Bob Thornton, Cara Delevingne, Amber Heard and Gemma Chan, this bizarre and poorly plotted movie received a rightful 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The story follows a woman with clairvoyant powers who discovers she will die at the hands of a man, so she begins an affair with three to find out which one. We’re confused too.
