Deion "Prime-Time" Sanders has had stints in both the NFL and the MLB, and also released a G-Funk album in 1994. Sanders later took his talents to broadcast TV and then to HBCU Jackson State University, where he's the head coach of the Tigers', football team.

Grammy award-winner Mike Reid is known more for his country music hits than his NFL career, which was also impressive. During his 5 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, Reid became a first-team NFL All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl two years in a row.
