Take a Walk

Sometimes the best thing you can do to clear your head is to take a walk. Just a quick lap around the neighborhood can get out any pent up energy and induce clearer thinking.

Listen to Your Favorite Song

Music is known to reduce stress and it has the ability to stir emotions. Put on your favorite jam and rock out. Think of nothing but the beats and you’re sure to feel better.

Read a Book

There’s something about getting lost in a story that’s not your own that can improve any mood. If you don’t have time to sit down and read a book, instead opt for a funny article or listicle that will bring you joy.

Treat Yourself to Your Favorite Food

Nothing makes you happier than your favorite food or snack. Whether you’re at work or at home, run out and treat yourself and make your day just a little bit brighter.

Declutter Your Space

Do some tidying up and you’ll feel your worries and stress ebb away just like the clutter from your desk. A clean space to work makes for a clean head to think.

Meditate for One Minute

Focus on your breathing for just one minute. Try and think of nothing else while you slowly breathe in and out. At the end, you’ll feel more refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the day.

Work on a Puzzle

Stretch your brain muscles and spent a few minutes working on a puzzle. Whether it’s a mental puzzle, like a crossword or sudoku, or an actual puzzle with pieces, it’ll be a great break.

Play with a Pet

There’s a reason animals bring us so much comfort. They’re cuddly, cute and ready to show us love, so if you have access to a pet, snuggle the heck out of them.

Dance

Dancing has been proven to reduce anxiety, depression and stress, so bust a move in the privacy of your home or with friends and you’re sure to feel loads better.

Bake Something

Let your mind wander while you work on making something delicious and tasty and get a yummy treat at the end.
