"Lupin," a French heist thriller starring Omar Sy as gentleman thief Assane Diop, will return for a fourth season on Netflix in October.

Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of Lupin Season 4.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Monday featuring Omar Sy as gentleman thief Assane Diop.

Lupin is a French heist thriller inspired by the character Arsene Lupin, created by author Maurice Leblanc.

In the Netflix version, Diop (Sy) is the son of a Senegalese immigrant who seeks revenge on his father's wealthy former employer.

Season 4 opens four years after the events of the Season 3 finale, with Diop in prison. He must race to prove his innocence after a "copycat" thief starts going by the name "Lupin" in an attempt to frame Diop.

Ludivine Sagnier, Antonie Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Theo Christine and Laika Blanc-Francard also star.

Lupin Season 4 premieres Oct. 23 on Netflix.
