Simba’s Quest in The Lion King

“The Lion King” tells the story of Simba, a young lion cub next in line to take the throne of the Pride Lands. Simba idolizes his father, Mufasa, and wants to grow up to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately, Mufasa’s brother, Scar, has other plans that lead to young Simba’s exile. Simba meets new friends and embarks on a quest back home to take back what is rightfully his — the throne of the Pride Lands.

A new heir is born. Rafiki, voiced by John Kani, presents baby Simba from the top of Pride Rock.

Young Simba blazes a new trail as he ventures out into the plains.

Simba’s support system has always been strong. Whether it's his caretaker Zazu, played by John Oliver, or his newfound buds Timon and Pumbaa, played by Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen, Simba has always been able to rely on family and friends.

A cub on his own has to learn to hunt the hard way. Simba tries out a new type of cuisine.
