The artist started posting short raps online in 2016, and it didn’t take long for her to start racking up stats on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, SoundCloud and Tidal. Saweetie’s star continued to rise, being featured in a 2018 Super Bowl ad for Rihanna's cosmetic company, Fenty Beauty, and later signed a Warner Bros. records partnership with Artistry Worldwide and her own label, Icy Records.
