Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Focus Features is gearing up for the release of the new film Sense and Sensibility.

The studio shared a second trailer for the movie Wednesday featuring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esme Creed-Miles.

Sense and Sensibility is a romantic drama based on the Jane Austen novel. The story follows Elinor (Edgar-Jones) and Marianne Dashwood (Creed-Miles), two sisters who navigate love and loss in late 18th-century England.

The trailer spotlights the budding romance between Elinor and Edward Ferrars (George McKay), who are seen dancing at a ball.

Other cast members include Caitriona Balfe as Mrs. Dashwood, Frank Dillane as John Willoughby and Herbert Nordrum as Colonel Brandon.

Sense and Sensibility opens in theaters Oct. 16.

Austen's novel was previously adapted as a 1995 film starring Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. Netflix is also adapting Austen's Pride and Prejudice as a new series starring Emma Corrin.
