New York-based artist Aja Trier once painted the Eiffel Tower in Vincent Van Gogh’s signature style — only to have an educational blog mistake her painting for a real Van Gogh. Since then, she’s decided to have a bit of fun with the mix-up, embarking on several starry night series.

This series focuses on pooches plonked into the famous “Starry Night” painting. Each dog painting is based on a real-life counterpart so enjoy these surreal and stunning portraits of dogs admiring a starry night.
