Travel the World with Tofu the Maltese

Tofu is a well-traveled Maltese based in Germany who has visited 21 different countries. Tofu’s Instagram is a great way to experience the world from a dog’s perspective, through his parents’ awesome photos. Keep swiping to check out some of the coolest places Tofu has visited and make sure to follow

Venice, Italy

Tofu visited Venice, Italy, during the spring and it happened to be very rainy. He explored parts of the city, but the highlight was Tofu posing as a gondolier.

Japan

Many of Tofu’s posts about his time in Japan feature good food. He’s tried out many dog friendly restaurants and even met up with a few of his friends for lunch dates.

Switzerland

Tofu and his family once took a trip to see Switzerland where they saw the Broken Chair monument and the Fork of Vevey. They visited Geneva, Interlaken, Lucerne and Zurich during their trip and although Tofu couldn’t eat any, Toblerone bars played a big role and making the trip a success for Tofu’s parents.

Solvang, California

Tofu has taken trips to many different parts of the United States, but Solvang, California, is special to his family. Tofu’s parents lived in the small Danish town for 4 years and it reminded them of Europe.

USA

Otherwise, Tofu’s visited a long list of U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Denver, New York, Boston and even the Grand Canyon. He’s gotten a taste of of In-N-Out burgers, soaked in the serenity of Malibu and walked the streets of Brooklyn as seen in the photo.

Istanbul

Since he’d been before, Tofu served as a tour guide when his grandparents came to visit on a trip to Istanbul. He knew about all the best photo spots and historic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.

Libson, Portugal

In Portugal’s capitol city, Tofu visited landmarks like the world’s oldest library (Livraia Bertrand) and Jerónimos Monastery. To his surprise, their weren’t many dogs and definitely not many as small as him.

Tallinn, Estonia

Estonia is the 20th country Tofu has visited. The old town charm of the city of Tallinn made for some really great photos. While Tofu was in town he met some friends and even hung out with a few of his Instagram followers.
