How to Regain Time During Your Day

We’ve all been there: wishing the day had more than 24 hours. Between the endless demands from work and personal lives, there doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day for everything we need to do.

Check out these four productivity skills to help you get some of that time back.

Bundle Tasks

If you have tasks that are similar to one another, get them all done at once rather than spreading them out throughout the day. Once your mind is already in that space, it’s easy to plow through than to come back to it later.

Use Templates

Whether it’s an email template, a data template or a presentation template, working off template saves tons of time.

Save Your Work

There’s nothing more horrifying than nearly finishing an unsaved project only to accidentally close it or your computer crash. Save yourself the hours down the line and make sure to save your work. Turn on auto save to make things even more seamless.

Automate

The more you can automate, the more time you can save. Rather than doing the same repetitive duties over and over again, try to find a way to automate it.
