Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Netflix released the trailer for Narnia: The Magician's Nephew on Tuesday. The film opens in theaters, including IMAX, on Feb. 12.

In The Magician's Nephew, Digory Kirke (David McKenna) and Polly Plummer (Beatrice Campbell) stay with their Uncle Andrew Ketterly (Daniel Craig). Uncle Andrew reveals he is a magician and introduces them to the worlds of Narnia.

The kids visit a mossy forest and ride on a flying pegasus. They meet the lion, Aslan, who roars. Meryl Streep will voice Aslan in the movie.

The Magician's Nephew is the sixth book C.S. Lewis wrote in the series but is set before The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. That book, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader were previously adapted as movies.

Narnia is Gerwig's follow-up to Barbie. Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, Ciarán Hinds, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Denise Gough and Susan Wokoma also star.

The film will come to Netflix April 2.
