Halloween is coming up sooner than you might think and it’s time to give some thought to your costume. Whether you’re inspired by pop culture, the otherworldly or bad guys, you can definitely put together a showstopping costume quickly and affordably.

Join what will undoubtedly be a large crowd of Barbies this year. Find your cutest, pinkest outfit and don’t forget all the accessories. If you’re not blond, pick up a wig. If there’s a Ken in your life, put him in board shorts, a colorful button-up shirt and a pink neckerchief.

Fans of The Bear might want to go as Carmy Berzatto, the head chef on the popular TV show. Search your closet for black pants and a white t-shirt. Add a blue apron and fake (or real if you have them) tattoos. Complete the look by hanging some white dishrags off the apron and don’t forget to mousse up your disheveled hair.

You can go as simple or as elaborate as you like with a zombie costume. Start by finding some clothes in your closet that you were going to get rid of anyway. Get them dirty and add some rips and tears. Swing by the party store for fake blood, makeup, a wig, or fake teeth — use as many props as you would like.
Be wickedly stylish in a Cruella de Vil costume. Pick up her signature black/white wig at a costume shop (or powder your own hair) and then raid your closet for all things black. Dress, boots—whatever you have. Add some red gloves if you have them—and you’re ready to go. Bonus points if you can find an accessory in Dalmatian print.

This year, consider going as Bond, James Bond. Dig out your tux, if you have one, or a black suit. Add a white shirt, black bowtie, and Wayfarer-ish sunglasses. Don’t forget the spiffy, polished shoes and shiny hair wax.

A ghost, of course, if a classic costume that can be thrown together at the last minute. A white sheet and a pair of scissors is all you need. A ghost costume is also an easy way to get your pooch in on the Halloween fun.
How about going as Mother Nature? Pick up some faux flowers at a craft store, and decorate a long flowing dress or a simple top as seen here. A green garment would be particularly appropriate. Don’t forget the headpiece—simply adorn a headband with multitudes of flowers and greenery.

Be Ted Lasso! You’ll just need to pull together a few items to mimic the beloved soccer coach’s signature look. Start with a blue tracksuit or just the jacket with khaki pants. Add a white visor, a whistle on a lanyard, aviator sunglasses and, of course, a thick mustache.
