Nike’s long history of collaborating on signature basketball sneakers with the WNBA’s top athletes continues with the highly-anticipated Nike Caitlin 1 — Caitlin Clark’s very first signature model. The Indiana Fever guard debuted the shoe during the 2026 WNBA season on her team’s way to a second consecutive playoff appearance. Continue swiping to more on this awesome signature sneaker.

Caitlin Clark is the latest name on a list of 10 WNBA stars who’ve released signature shoes with Nike. Similar to Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson before her, Nike and Clark worked closely to create a sneaker with a sharp look that caters to her game. It’s made for quick changes of direction, high top end speed and her go-to setback three point shot.
For the hoopers, the Caitlin 1 has a responsible Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot for explosive pushofls, and full-length Cushion ST foam that’s supportive and lightweight. It allows Caitlin to stay balanced and controlled for when she goes to launch a three pointer from the logo.
Nike’s new Opticast upper gives the Caitlin 1 a unique texture. If you look very closely, you’ll see a pattern of C’s on one side and a pattern of 2’s on the other. Aside from the cool appearance, the new material is extremely light weight, but strong, so that the fastest of players stay contained within the sneaker.
The first few color ways of the Nike Caitlin 1 all have meaning behind them. The debut Caitlin Blue colorway was inspired by the sky and unlimited nature of Caitlin’s deep range three point shot. To Caitlin, this hue represents the inspiration and imagination she wants fans and players to feel while they wear the Caitlin 1.
The shade of yellow used on the Warning Code evokes a natural warning. It represents the intensity Caitlin plays with, and like the rest of the models features a double swoosh as a callbout to her initials.
The Purple Venom colorway was inspired in part by Caitlin’s college team, the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. Unlike humans, hawks can see ultraviolet light. And like a hawk, Caitlin’s on-court vision makes her a constant threat whether she’s scoring or setting up her teammates.
The Midnight Fever colorway was created to commemorate Caitlin’s 22nd game in the WNBA when she became the first WNBA rookie to record a triple-double.
The Nike Caitlin 1 went on sale October1, 2026 and similar to Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson's sneaker debuts — it sold out almost instantly. Visit Nike’s website to find out more about the Nike Caitlin 1, view her apparel collection and grab a pair of Caitlin 1’s for yourself.
