Here’s an iconic variation of the original Warner Bros. logo circa 1990.
Warner Bros. hired Pentagram, the world’s largest independent design consultancy firm, to modernize the logo. To achieve this, the designers thinned out the shield icon and put in a golden ratio. The historic blue was also made brighter.
The letters were redrawn for a better sense of balance.
The new Warner Bros. logo is fully rolled out, having been painted onto the iconic water tower.
Two versions of the logo were created: one a flat primary version and the other a more dynamic version.
