The young Spanish pop music starlet Rosalía, is an extremely talented singer/songwriter and producer that is known for her refreshing take on traditional flamenco music. On her first album, “Los Ángeles,” Rosalía decided to completely re-work a set of classic flamenco tunes, blending together elements of pop, hip-hop and R&B in order to create a unique sound. In her native country of Spain, her music acts as a bridge between the youth and older traditional art forms that may not have been seen as interesting or cool to her relatively young fan base. Since her 2017 debut, Rosalía has had quite the rise to fame — world-renowned musicians such as Pharrell Williams, James Blake and J Balvin have all co-signed on her talent and creativity.
