Johnny Depp’s former Los Angeles residence is a marvel to look at — each room heavily detailed from the color of the walls to the collections of wall art in every room. Located Los Angeles’ Eastern Columbia Building, this home was comprised of four two-bedroom units, and a one-bedroom unit before Depp sold the units for a sweet profit of about $4 million.
In their entirety, the penthouses span a massive area of 11,500 square feet. According to Depp’s listing agent Kevin Dees of Partners Trust, Depp added doors instead of knocking down walls between the units in order to maintain their architectural integrity.
“These units are like pieces of art,” Dees said. Depp sold the units individually, making close to $11 million for the whole lot.
Originally built in the 1930s and renovated in 2007, the collection of penthouse units overlooks downtown, Los Angeles.
Three of the two-bedroom units were used as entertainment and living spaces, while the remaining two units were transformed into an art studio and guest suite. The heavily decorated walls and vibrant furnishings make every inch of Depp’s skyline fortress a sight to behold.
From the master suite, you're treated to a view straight down Broadway. With this view of some historic LA landmarks, the property is sure to invoke feelings of nostalgia.
