Al Capone’s Former Gangster Hideout

Concealed from the road in Berlin, New Jersey is a $1.75 million home dubbed the “Valley House.” At first glance, the 6,500-square-foot abode doesn’t seem overly special. However, it has a rather colorful past: serving as a hideout for the notorious gangster Al Capone.

Take a step inside Scarface’s former refuge from the law, with a design so dated it’s almost frozen in time.

Perched on 36 acres of land, the home is the perfect hiding place for those up to no good.

Even gangsters need to pass the time somehow.

For some solid extra hideout space, the home comes complete with a cave-like attic.

We can only imagine what Capone was up to in this study.

It’s possible this design didn’t age well, but it was all the rage during Capone’s reign.

The eclectic layouts don’t stop at just the master bedroom.

Red appears to be a motif throughout the home.

Every gangster needs a highbrow wet bar: both for entertaining and persuading people to do their bidding.

For a low $1.75 million, you could own this relic of history and channel your inner gangster...We mean, love for vintage interior design.
