The National Kitchen and Bath Association issued a report that says more folks are remodeling their bathrooms to accommodate two people comfortably. Some folks are moving walls and losing space elsewhere to ensure there’s plenty of room.
White bathroom fixtures are a long-time standby. Go all in with white tile, too—it's a timeless choice that will look fresh for years to come. Pick a style like subway tile that’s always in fashion, and your re-do will be stunning for years to come.
A natural, earthy look is always a good choice, and designers see 2025 as a year when many remodelers add a live edge stone or wood countertop to their bathrooms. A stone floor or wall, or natural wood beams are other options.

Many remodelers will opt for upgraded lighting in 2025, according to the kitchen and bath trade association. That might include additional windows, mood lighting and dimmable lighting.
Convenience and lack of clutter are always top of mind during a remodel. Built-in hampers that hide away piles of dirty laundry are a terrific decluttering step. And built-in chutes that whisk laundry away, straight to the laundry room—who wouldn’t love that?
