Prime Video released the 2-minute first trailer for David O. Russell's new sports film, "Madden," on Thursday. The film will be released in November.

Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Prime Video released the first trailer for David O. Russell's new sports film, Madden, on Thursday.

Starring Nicolas Cage, Christian Bale, Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney and Shane Gillis, the movie will play in theaters on Nov. 11 and make its streaming debut on Nov. 18.

A Prime Video synopsis said the film "chronicles John Madden's incredible journey alongside best friend and true original Al Davis -- from a Super Bowl-winning partnership with the Raiders, to becoming football's most recognizable voice, to building the worldwide Madden NFL video game."

Cage plays Madden to Bale's Davis.

"I love this game!" Madden is seen screaming in Thursday's 2-minute preview.

"My dad says once you start working, you'll never stop," he said. "Get away with doing what you love as long as you possibly can."
