Nardwuar the Human Serviette is a Canadian music journalist and radio personality who built a career on eccentric interviews fueled by his sometimes suprisingly deep research. Nike SB honored the Vancouver legend with a sneaker collaboration, as he’s one of modern media’s most influential interviewers.

Nardwuar’s signature bold tartan print covers the toe box and side panels of this Nike Dunk. The sneaker’s specific pattern was made to be a one-to-one match of the Tam O' Shanter hat Nardwuar wears during every interview. The hat was a gift from his mother and the specific tartan pattern is called Royal Stewart.

The dark suede grounds the loud colors and gives the sneaker a rugged, skate-ready finish. This material choice adds a premium texture on top of an already optimized shoe.

The heel on the left shoe reads "Doot," and the right shoe reads "Doo." This embroidery completes Nardwuar’s famous sign-off, "Doot doola doot doo... doot doo!”

As with many celebrity collabs, these sneakers were difficult to secure. They dropped in limited quantities at select skate shops and on the SNKRS app in December 2025. They sold out instantly and now command high resale prices.

This special Nike SB Dunk solidifies Nardwuar’s place in American pop culture alongside rappers and rockers of the pat few decades. Few journalists ever receive such high honors from a brand like Nike, but Nardwuar stands apart form the rest. Congrats!
