

"Avatar: Seven Havens," an animated sequel to "The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra," was renewed the day of its premiere on Paramount+.

Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Avatar: Seven Havens will return for Seasons 3 and 4 on Paramount+.
Series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino announced the news Friday during the show's panel at New York City Comic-Con.
Avatar: Seven Havens is a sequel to the Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The renewal coincides with its series premiere on Paramount+.
Seven Havens follows Pavi and her twin sister Nisha, two young avatars, or people capable of manipulating the four elements of water, earth, fire and air. The show follows the pair as they attempt to save the titular Seven Havens.
The voice cast includes Saheli Khan as Pavi and Aishu Devan as Nisha, along with Major Curda, Dee Bradley Baker, Akshay Khanna and Darren Barnet.
The Avatar franchise also includes the 2010 live-action film The Last Airbender, the live-action TV remake Avatar: The Last Airbender and the animated sequel film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, released in July.
