Dallas Mavericks superstar Kyrie Irving’s exclusive partnership with sports apparel company ANTA is off to a great start following the release of three different sneaker models in one year (KAI 1, KAI 1 Speed and KAI 1 Team). The ANTA KAI 2, Irving’s latest addition to his signature line, improves on all the performance features found on the KAI 1.

The first two colorways of the ANTA KAI two are called, Artist on Court and Solar Return. As was the case with the KAI , there are a ton of personal details incorporated into the sneaker’s design.

The Artist on Court was first revealed during NBA All-Star 2025 as Kyrie filled in for his injured teammate Anthony Davis. This colorway had a limited release soon after All-Star weekend and even came with a secondary set of laces, making this a stylish option both on and off the court.

The Solar Return colorway, set to launch later in March 2025, takes inspiration from hues in the solar spectrum. The unique construction of the sneaker allows for endless customization in terms of the design, allowing for a great amount of detail.

About the Solar Return, ANTA says, “Multi-colored dots across the shoe represent the smallest form of light—particles—symbolizing Kyrie’s presence on the court: brilliant, fluid, and omnipresent. The intricate embroidery pays homage to traditional hand-stitched ethnic designs while incorporating the sun and Kyrie’s signature number 11.”
