June 3 (UPI) -- A North Carolina man scored a $100,000 prize from a scratch-off lottery ticket right after telling his friends he was going to win that exact amount.
Rocky Mount resident Donald Bunn told North Carolina Education Lottery officials he informed his friends that he had a big prize in his future.
"I told my buddies I was going to hit for $100,000," he said. "It was just my time."
He bought a $100,000 Cash Payday ticket for $30 from Dabney Speed EZS Mart on Western Boulevard in Tarboro and scratched off the $100,000 prize.
"This is the best feeling in the world," Bunn said.
Bunn said he is considering using his prize money to buy a house.
