Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Alex Warren took to the stage on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The music artist, 26, performed his song "Cry Wolf" on Wednesday's episode of the NBC late-night talk show.

"Cry Wolf" appears on Warren's most recent album, Wildchild, released in August. In the lyrics, Warren addresses someone who keeps "crying wolf," or making "empty" cries for help.

"So don't come crying to me / I won't lose any more sleep / I know you're spinning your lies / Only so many times you can cry wolf," he sings.

Wildchild features 12 other tracks, including "Fever Dream," "Fine Place to Die," "Passenger," "Rescuer" and "Emerald Eyes."

Warren will promote the album on his Finding (More) Family on the Road tour in 2027.
