Oct. 14 (UPI) -- A giant inflatable pumpkin was swept away from a North Carolina farm by the wind and went traveling down the street before being secured by an Uber driver.

Phillips Farms of Cary said in an Instagram post that the giant pumpkin, part of the décor for the business' annual Pumpkinfest event, broke loose from its tethers on Sunday and went rolling down the nearby road.

The pumpkin's adventure came to a stop thanks to the efforts of a nearby Uber driver and other helpful witnesses.

The farm said the inflatable decoration was safely returned to its place at Pumpkinfest.
