Converse has released special-edition footwear that subtly references the werewolf. The sides of the shoe have a textured, "moon-rock" look and feel, while the sole features a spooky werewolf graphic.

The upper has a moon graphic to it, a choice that at first feels like an echo of the popular "Moon Landing" Nike Air Max 90. But, the footbed reveals a lycanthrope graphic and a full moon that makes the story more apparent.

This Converse style, which uses the brand's updated (and more expensive) Chuck 2 silhouette, is available now directly from Nike.
