Is this the World's Happiest Animal?

Australian wildlife photographer Suzana Paravac gained popularity on Instagram after posting a photo of a smiling quokka holding a heart-shaped leaf. A glimpse at her page shows hundreds of these smiling animals, possibly the happiest wildlife to walk to the planet.

Check out these adorable creatures for your daily dose of cuteness and don’t forget to follow Paravac on Instagram at @crazysuzy.

The quokka is a marsupial that lives in the southwestern tip of mainland Australia and on islands off the coast of Perth, Western Australia.

No one has ever been as happy to hold a leaf as this little guy.

Although there are many quokkas found on some of these islands, they're still categorized as vulnerable.

The quokka has little fear of humans, making it easy to snap photos of their happy faces. However, as with many wild animals, they have bitten tourists when feeling threatened.
