"The Dink," a new sports comedy about pickleball starring Jake Johnson, Ben Stiller, Mary Steenburgen and Ed Harris, is coming to Apple TV in July.

June 23 (UPI) -- Apple TV is gearing up for the release of the new film The Dink.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the movie Tuesday featuring New Girl actor Jake Johnson.

The Dink is a sports comedy following Dusty Boyd (Johnson), a former tennis pro sidelined by an injury. Now an instructor at his father's (Ed Harris) country club, Dusty is instructed by his doctor (Ben Stiller) to play the much-maligned pickleball for his recovery.

The star-studded cast also includes Mary Steenburgen, Patton Oswalt, Chloe Fineman, Chris Parnell, Aaron Chen and real-life tennis pro Andy Roddick.

Dusty "not only tries pickleball, but, thanks in part to his enchanting new partner, Candace (Steenburgen), he finds himself actually enjoying it. Torn between two worlds, Dusty is forced to finally face the ghosts of his past athletic failures, including his childhood nemesis, Andy Roddick," an official synopsis reads.

The Dink starts streaming July 24 on Apple TV.
