Blockbuster video ruled supreme over the movie rental business before streaming services changed the game. Blockbuster, Inc. filed for bankruptcy in 2010, but the Bend, Oregon location has been the talk of social media ever since. Bend residents Ken and Debbie Tisher started Pacific Video Store in 1990, which they decided to turn into a Blockbuster franchise in 2000. Through hard work, determination and a bit of luck, the world’s last Blockbuster is still fully functional and open for business.
