For Rent: Biggie Smalls’ Childhood Home

The “one-room shack” that Christopher Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls, grew up in has been spotted on real estate websites with a rent of nearly $4,000 a month. The same unit sold in 2013 for $825,000.

“I didn't factor his celebrity into the price,” listing agent Judith Siegel Lief told the New York Daily News when the unit went up for sale.

Continue on to see what Biggie’s childhood home looks like now.

The apartment is located in a now-affluent Brooklyn neighborhood that has come a long way since the 1990s.

The listing reads: “Amazing furnished three-bedroom home with additional den/office and separate dining room with best light is now available for rent in the desired neighborhood of Clinton Hill historic district.”

Biggie Smalls moved into the apartment with his mother when he was an infant and lived there for 20 years.
