Just like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Devin Booker, Houston Rockets guard Austin Rivers comes from a pro basketball pedigree. And just like his dad Doc, the Clippers’ current head coach, did during the 1991-92 season, Rivers made his way onto the Los Angeles Clippers’ roster. His decision to settle into this beautiful new Pacific Palisades residence during his time in Los Angeles was probably an easy one.
The 7,400-square-foot home’s interior features a clean and inviting layout. The wide-open main level features a large chef’s kitchen that blends into a large living area with a fireplace. The living room’s double doors open up to a spacious patio area with seating. In total, there are 3 main sitting areas — Two with a fireplace, and one small area around a well-lit table which would be perfect for a nice breakfast in the sun.
The gorgeous master suite is a sight to behold. The large bedroom, complete with its own fireplace, features a huge set of retracting doors that lead out to a patio space, similar in size to the one downstairs. The master bath features a large his and her sink, standalone bathtub and large windows to let in tons of that California sunlight.
Rivers purchased the then newly-built home in 2016 for an NBA star worthy $6.1 million. He’s has since moved on to the Houston Rockets after a brief stint with Washington Wizards and has listed the home for $7.5 million. Complete with an office, movie theater and pool, this property is sure to become home to an LA resident looking for a beautiful home, perfect for entertaining guests.
