For the 7th consecutive season, All 30 NBA franchises added a third “City Edition” uniform that reflects each city’s history and heritage. This season, the special unis are being worn by home teams in the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament.

The city of Denver, Colorado sits 5,280 feet above sea level, which affects opposing team negatively and serves as a badge of honor among residents.
Utah and the color purple are forever tied together, and the Jazz’ City Edition uniforms definitely reflect that. They’re a callback to the Utah Jazz’ classic purple mountain jersey worn from 1996 - 2002.
The Bulls paid homage to the old Chicago stadium, while the Bucks’s jersey is clad in Great Lakes blue —a special hue that symbolizes Milwaukee’s connection to Lake Michigan.
The 1968 World Fair was a special event held in San Antonio and it inspired the Spurs’ new retro look.
The triangle design of this jersey’s word mark harkens back to the 60s, when the Lakers first moved from Minneapolis. It represents the Lakers’ evolution as a pro basketball franchise.
