"North of North," a comedy-drama series starring Anna Lambe as Inuk mother Siaja, will return for a second season on Netflix in November.

Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Netflix is teasing North of North Season 2.

The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Wednesday featuring Anna Lambe as Siaja, an Inuk woman living in a small Arctic community in the fictional town of Ice Cove, Nunavut.

North of North is a Canadian comedy-drama following Siaja (Lambe), a single mom and recent divorcee raising her daughter, Bun (Keira Belle Cooper), with the help of her mother, Neevee (Maika Harper), and estranged father, Alistair (Jay Ryan).

In Season 2, Siaja attempts to level up in life and love while guided by piliimmaksarniq, "the Inuktitut concept of mastering skills through observation, practice, and effort," an official synopsis says.

Other cast members include Braeden Clarke as Kuuk, Mary Lynn Rajskub as Helen, Zorga Qaunaq as Millie, Bailey Poching as Colin and Nutaaq Doreen Simmonds as Elisapee.

North of North is created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril. Season 2 premieres Nov. 5 on Netflix.
