The Arkup 75 is the world's first solar-powered yacht, but it also doubles as an upscale villa. The 75-foot-long vessel provides 4,350 square feet of living space.
Inside, this yacht is no different from a modern home. Guests should be comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a wrap-around deck that’s accessible from any room.
One part of the sun deck can even be submerged and turned into a swimming pool.
Satellite TV and Wi-Fi connections, LED lighting in every area, a 4,000-gallon rainwater harvesting system and an emergency power reservoir are all on board.
The Arkup 75 is very well-insulated and was designed to resist category 4 hurricane winds. And just in case you’d want to stay stationary for a while, it also includes 40-foot stilts.
The roof of the Arkup 75 acts as a 2,300-square-foot rain reservoir. It’s covered in 36kW solar panels that power every part of the vessel.
For the version with all the bells and whistles, the Arkup 75 will cost $10.5 Million, but the base model is considerably less expensive at $5.5 Million.
