Turning Point USA co-founder and conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot during an appearance on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025. Two days after his death, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox announced officials had arrested Tyler Robinson, 22, on charges of murder. Supporters of Kirk, an ally of President Donald Trump, mourned his death across the country.
