High above the ground in Shenzhen, China rises a luxury penthouse that contains somewhat of an architectural oddity — a live tree. The tree embodies the designer's vision of “living between the city and nature.” Tree or no tree, we could certainly make due in this gorgeous living space for a few nights.

The core of the apartment is a large atrium that was an outdoor terrace before the architects enclosed it in glass. From inside the atrium, you can see panoramic views of the city. Stepping outside the atrium will bring you to the penthouse's large outdoor swimming pool.
