Space travel has become a real topic of discussion in recent years. Rapid advancements in technology have afforded a few private companies to involve themselves in the space travel conversation. Blue Origin, owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, plans to get its Blue Moon lander to the moon by 2024. The plan is to use these landers to transport extremely heavy payloads to space, ultimately to create large space colonies in close proximity to Earth. Join Blue Origin and Jeff Bezos for a look at the Blue Moon lander.

The Blue Moon's combination of sensors and machine learning enables it to land accurately on any part of the moon’s surface.
The lander’s larger variant can carry Blue Origin’s rover vehicle as well. The rover will be used to launch small satellites into orbit and for scientific missions on the moon’s surface.
According to Bezos, Blue Origin’s early efforts should help to establish an infrastructure for space that could provide access to space travel for millions of people. Among Blue Origin’s other lofty goals, the burgeoning company has plans for space tourism and Club of the Future — a youth-focused club centered around space-related activities.
