Sept. 15 (UPI) -- A herd of escaped goats in Baltimore were rounded up and returned home by police in cooperation with neighborhood children.
The Baltimore Police Department said on social media that officers from the Southwest Division responded to the Frederick Avenue area Saturday on a report of an "animal disturbance."
The officers arrived to find several goats were on the loose in the neighborhood and making a meal out of local lawns.
Animal control officers were called to help with the situation and the grazing goats were herded into a confined area and fitted with leashes.
"With the assistance of neighborhood children and community members, the goats were returned to their home a block away," the post said.
