On Saturday, Annie Clark was on hand to DJ at Spotify’s 20th-anniversary events at Stubb’s. Alanis Morissette headlined that show, and ascendant country star Ella Langley also performed. Clark made a surprise appearance during Morissette’s set, and the two of them sang “You Oughta Know” together. That’s not an easy song to sing, and Clark really wailed it.
On Sunday, St. Vincent also took part in a live recording of Norah Jones’ podcast Norah Jones Is Playing Along. Here’s a video of the two of them playing St. Vincent’s 2021 song “The Melting Of The Sun” together.
Last month, Norah Jones and Queens Of The Stone Age leader Josh Homme covered Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s “Somethin’ Stupid” on that podcast. On Thursday, Jones and Homme played that cover on Kimmel.
