DETROIT — The Gathering of the Juggalos is heading to the Ozarks.

For the first time in its 26-year history, the annual Insane Clown Posse fan festival will emanate from Missouri, the Detroit rap duo announced Friday. The fest will unfold in — or invade, depending on one's perspective — Macks Creek, about three hours southeast of Kansas City, Missouri, Aug. 19-22.

"Like a Jolly Roger flew on high above a crow's nest, consider this your call to action to journey forth across uncharted seas!" the group said in a pirate-themed announcement on social media.

"Get ready to celebrate life with your Juggalo Family as we bring the greatest show on Earth to a brand-new river-infused realm of dopeness, nestled within Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks area!"

Macks Creek has a population of 365, according to 2020 census data. Its reputation as a speed trap along U.S. Route 54 has led to what is referred to in the Missouri legislature as Macks Creek Law, which is meant to cap the amount from which a municipality's operating revenue can be derived from traffic fines.

Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9 p.m. April 24 at juggalogathering.com.

The Gathering of the Juggalos was held in Thornville, Ohio — which has been Gathering host a total of nine times — from 2021 until 2025. Previous locations included Cave-in-Rock, Illinois; Springville, Indiana; Oklahoma City; and Novi, which played host to the first Gathering of the Juggalos in summer 2000.

The four-day celebration of all things ICP has long been a topic of internet fascination, and its hype videos led to a series of "SNL" skits.

Insane Clown Posse's most recent studio album, "The Naught," was released in August 2025.
