May 17 (UPI) -- Michael is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $26.1 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 with $18 million is The Devil Wears Prada 2, followed by Obsession at No. 3 with $16.1 million, Mortal Kombat II at No. 4 with $13.4 million and The Sheep Detectives at No. 5 with $9.3 million.

Rounding out the top tier are The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at No. 6 with $4.5 million, Project Hail Mary at No. 7 with $4 million, Top Gun/Top Gun: Maverick at No. 8 with $3.1 million, In the Grey at No. 9 with $3 million and Is God Is at No. 10 with $2.2 million.
