Sept. 13 (UPI) -- The Primetime Emmy Awards return Sunday in Los Angeles.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will present the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards at Peacock Theater, with the show to air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. EDT.
Comedian Nate Bargatze is due to make his Emmys hosting debut.
The series up for the most awards include Severance and The Penguin, receiving 27 and 24 nominations, respectively.
The star-studded roster of presenters includes Jenna Ortega, Walton Goggins and Jennifer Coolidge.

The Emmys will air at 8 p.m. on Sunday on CBS, and will stream on Paramount+ as well.

Behind Severance and The Penguin, The White Lotus and The Studio each received 23 nods.
Nominees for Best Actor in a Drama include Adam Scott, Noah Wyle, Sterling K. Brown, Gary Oldman and Pedro Pascal, while nominees for Best Actress in a Drama include Kathy Bates, Sharon Horgan, Britt Lower, Bella Ramsey and Keri Russell.
Adam Brody, Seth Rogen, Jason Siegel, Martin Short and Jeremy Allen White were all nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy, while Uzo Aduba, Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri and Jean Smart are up for Best Actress in a Comedy.
